Pros
As my title says, I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of this company. I have had some truly soul-sucking jobs, but I can honestly say that Sound is a light in all of that darkness. One of the best things about Sound is the company culture. It's a really encouraging place to work and I actually enjoy coming in to work every day (which is not something I can say about jobs I've had in the past). We are truly a team and leaders work to hire people that fit with that dynamic. As an employee, you have a lot of opportunities for professional development whether you are on the clinical or business side of the operation. Senior leadership will provide you with a solid path to advancement and invest both time and resources to ensure you are constantly learning and engaging. They are also very talented in harnessing their employees' individual talents. You're able to incorporate your skills into your role no matter where you work. I also feel like in past positions, the Senior Leadership team seemed to be a bit absent from the scene, but this is definitely not the case with Sound. All members of the C-Suite are consistently visible and always sharing updates with colleagues on a regular basis. They are approachable and treat everyone with the utmost respect. I am very happy to be a part of Sound and would definitely recommend it as a great place to work!
Cons
Even though we are a healthcare company, our insurance and benefits package could be better. Additionally, we have been experiencing problems on the technical side for business colleagues over the last few months. However, this is something that is being actively addressed and I foresee it not being a problem for long. I would also say that sometimes communication between departments/new sites can be slow in coming, but again, that's something that has seen improvement recently.
