They don't have good benefits (like your PTO and sick days go in the 'negatives' when used up), and they do not roll over to the next year if aren't used, so you get like 5 days off a year if lucky.
C-level team does a very horrible job managing and could care less about you or your growth within the company. All they care about is making money and demanding you to work faster whilst paying you less money.
They consider themselves 'agile' and use 'scrum' but make up their own rules such as: 1 story point=1 hour of work, which makes estimating impossible and sets you up for failure right away. Tickets that roll over to next sprints are considered a no-no and you will get called out for that.
They expect you to be a cross-platform developer. They acquire so many companies/apps that you may find yourself working on 4 or 5 different tech stacks, which makes it hard to get good at anything.
Poor work/life balance. With lack of support, you will be working late nights to avoid the embarrassment of not figuring something out. Imposter syndrome..yeah they'll give you even more of that feeling.
High turnover rate for engineers. I would say more than half of them left within a year or less. Never a good sign.
