Pros

Working at Springworks has been a great experience. Even though we work fully remotely, the culture never feels distant — the environment is very friendly and supportive, and that starts right from the top. The team heads across all functions are incredibly supportive and approachable — there's absolutely no ego here. They're genuinely friendly, and I can call or text any of them anytime I have a query, and they'll always take the time to help me out. As the sole person handling the legal function, that kind of access and support makes a huge difference to how I work. What I appreciate most is the fairness of the culture. No one is given special treatment or prioritised over anyone else — everyone is treated as equal, regardless of role or seniority. Other teams (product, engineering, sales) engage openly and treat legal as a partner rather than a roadblock, and I'm trusted with a lot of ownership over my work. Management gives you the autonomy to build things your own way, which has been great for my growth.

Cons

As with any fast-growing company, things move quickly and priorities can shift, so you have to stay adaptable. Handling legal solo also means a wide and varied workload — though personally I see that as a chance to learn rather than a real downside.
