Pros
Flexible hours. Work from anywhere. Company discount.
Cons
On top of them taking 6-9 months to complete a hiring process, you feel like you're always "ON". Very little chance to flex up to fulltime unless you are a manager. Minimal contact with other "team members" and management. You are given minimal time to style clients. They would like you to complete a client in 12 Min while building a relationship with them individually which is insane. If you have a particularly difficult client or one that needs extra attention it doesn't matter. These times will affect your overall metrics and you will be penalized. Items are insanely overpriced! You are encouraged to "push" items to clients that are frankly not worth the price and constant client complaints about the manufacturing or receiving items with stains. This was definitely not the stylist job I thought it was going to be. As the months went on this did not feel exciting and made me feel more and more like a money maker for a company with little interest in its clients. Great for stay at home moms who need 15 hrs of extra pay. Not recommended for anyone actually interested in fashion or a financially dependable position.
