Where to start. It starts with the lack of leadership. Partners and directors truly do not value their people. They give you no time and do not address your concerns. They think you are the issue even though the concerns are valid and you bring them up. Someone mentioned gaslighting. This is valid. You work over 80 hours a week without being thanked. It is expected of you to work over the weekends. No wlb. As others mentioned, little to no strategy work- it is cost cutting or reallocation of costs. The culture is very selfish. You have to find a group that likes you and takes you along your career journey. The firm stack ranks your performance vs others in the same role. This is archaic and leads to people not helping others. They see it as competition. I regret joining the firm and will likely find another job soon
