Pros
Some of the Pros I've found when working for SUBWAY have been the flexibility of scheduling, and most owners offer their employees meals at either discounted prices or completely free while working. Some even go so far as to offer family discounts of 10% when you're on the clock. The work is easy enough.
Cons
The stress! The stress alone of running a store is not worth what I get paid, let alone the stress of a micro-managing owner. Store owners are often more concerned with their profit, which I suppose I understand from a business point of view, however, how are you going to have an efficiently operating store if you under-appreciate your employees? Finding people to work is difficult since the Subway name has been marred with bad publicity. Often my employees work shifts by themselves because we are under staffed and over worked. The pay does not equate the work we do, not by a long shot.
