Pros
It's a great place to gain experience in a fast paced environment. You get a lot of freedom to do what you need to do. Access to experienced professionals both in company and through suppliers. Many disciplines all in one place, so much to learn. Relatively small company which means you can be involved in or get to experience higher level decision making. Something you won't have access to anywhere else. The CEO is a man of few words, but he's actually pretty solid.
Cons
Management and lack of leadership. No training on entry. "This is how we've always done it". Very old school, but they're slowly and very stubbornly changing that. Decisions are made without any scientific or engineering consultation. The COO is the exact opposite of how I described the CEO, and you'll probably find out why very quickly.
