Incompetent management Too many layers of management No career development No training Forget about promotions, they don't happen Constant cross-department conflict They won't fire incompetent workers for fear of being sued Often hire outside people at higher levels and higher pay rather than promote Lots of satisfaction surveys, but they never do anything with them They talk about "empowerment", but you have no power to do anything
