Pros

Nothing to appreciate. Don't get fooled by the fake reviews.

Cons

- The directors don't trust anyone so all the 'Head of' are their childhood friends. They are all part of the same community and tend to recruit people with the same beliefs as them if they can. Don't get me wrong, the idea of hiring a friend can be appealing. I just think there are limits. You can't just hire a friend for the sake of it, some other things need to come into consideration. - Very micromanaged environment. There is no trust so everything you do will be monitored. - No opportunity to grow. I didn't come across anyone who has been promoted. Career opportunities are never mentioned. - You are expected to do your job and be quiet. You won't have to use your brain much. There is no point giving suggestions and trying to improve things. Management won't listen and won't value your opinion.

Pros

Zero, none! If I could give Zero stars that would be a misrepresentation of how bad this place is. The LA based sales team is so much better than management thinks. And the Australian sales leader is part of the problem, they have their heads up their back sides.

Cons

Where do I start? The prior CeO that was kicked out at the beginning of 2024 was an alcoholic, sexist, racist, liar and complete tool, in the worst of ways. And the new CeO isn't much better, oh he's nice enough in first meetings, and then watch your back. This guy is a snake in sheep's clothing. I was hired to help, to bring newness and revive the US business. I started my new job, traveled to Australia to meet the AU team, and was fired. Apparently I didn't look good enough in person, I didn't "fit the culture" of Sunnylife. Apparently my hair was groomed enough, my nails we not spiffy enough, and my image didn't meet expectations. Oh and I heard from 3 different people since being terminated in my first 2 weeks that "I was too old" for the Sunnylife culture. The best part I probably dodged a bullet. The culture was terrible, very negative, micromanaged, and second guesses everything.
