Pros
Surefire is constantly evolving and changing for the better.
Because it's a smaller company, Surefire has a pretty flat organizational structure, which I love. This type of structure gives employees the ability to learn many different skill sets they probably wouldn't learn in a larger organization with more layers.
The executive team is very supportive of ideas and suggestions from all levels of the organization. If they like your idea, everyone on the executive team will work to make it happen.
Employees are well-respected an appreciated. We have an Employee of the Month program where an exemplary are announced and rewarded at monthly employee meetings, along with others who were nominated for Game Ball.
The company culture is very strong in a good way. Employees work together really well to obtain a common goal. The executive team has worked hard to motivate all employees (even with drop in oil prices) to continue working toward a common goal of diversifying our business.
Cons
I would like more informal feedback on performance.
