Pros

Free water, coffee, tea, and parking, Ok work-life balance except for engineers and sometimes sales. Good views from conference room and offices.

Cons

Poor management from CEO, he doesn't respect employees and yells curses at them often. Very low pay and company is always going through pay cuts and furloughs. Employees ordered to work outside business hours. Everything run as cheap as possible. Network is slow and often crashes. Computers are really old IBM Thinkpads.

Synactive Response

Drivel from a narrow, self-serving perspective, and devoid of insight, much of these has been responded. In a restructure, it is impossible to treat everyone in exactly the same manner, nor would that be right. Those with bruised egos found this site to retaliate by spewing mendacities anonymously. Here is a test, if there is any truth, please, I invite you to file with our HR and claim back pay. As a company, we have one overarching goal, that of providing robust, innovative business software of significant value to our customers. We may not always do everything right, but we will never compromise on this objective.

Pros

The owner and management team have grown the business with a steady pace. They are consistently mindful of the business decisions and how to stay the course and grow the organization. There have been several changes over the last year that is helping drive employee satisfaction, sales and corporate branding. The company took steps to put processes in place that make it feel more grown up. In addition to the relaxed work environment, they have good benefits; including health, dental, vision, life & disability and 401(k). They also have some perks like laundry service, fresh fruit and generous vacation and leave policies. If you value that kind of stuff then they offer it. Within a very short time of working here you’ll know everyone by first name and you’re likely to run into the owner/CEO walking down the hall or chatting in the foyer. Managers are approachable and welcome new ideas. Employees have the independence to do great work if they put in the effort.

Cons

Transparency and communication has improved greatly and will continue to get better if everyone stays the course. Communication within your immediate department or team is good however, communication between departments could be better.
