Pros
The company employs mostly talented and motivated people. The work atmosphere is friendly and mostly cooperative. The company seems to be on a good growth path (not as good as announced to the press).
Cons
Pay and benefits for process engineers in switzerland are not best in class - far from it. Struggled to get any founding for external training training has a cost and the company was not happy to support this (may be this was due to my manager - rather than the company). The company is trying to switch into growth mode after a long period of reduction of its manufacturing and engineering footprint. However there is a spread mentality (in particular across senior managers) of cost containment and cost killing - which means the human resources needed are often not hired - or the people hired have no experience on the topic. As a result lots of projects are being launched without the necessary people and skills available to support the execution - this leasds to poor decisions and endless problems. After a while this became too frustrating for me.
