Over 200 employees, including many long-time contributors, were laid off during the restructuring. The fulfillment center closure appeared to happen quickly, and order processing times increased from under a week to over a month in many cases. Advancement opportunities were limited, and despite being encouraged to apply internally, movement into new roles was inconsistent and seemed influenced by internal dynamics. Health benefits changed during this time and were less favorable for some. Throughout the transition, communication about job security was inconsistent, which made it difficult for teams to plan or feel stable.
