Pros

First day and maybe first week is phenomenal. They make you feel great, like you are special, that you have been selected, that you have something special to give. Great for people who like don't have other career growth opportunities and want to take personal time to travel. A no PTO policy or take PTO when you want or need it allows flexibility for those who want to take advantage of it. Free corn in the summer time. Nice building with TONS of space because no one works there anymore. (dropped close to 50% of its employees over the past few years.) The underlying science behind their offerings is solid, with a long history in the industry. (As it should be. It is also what Gallup is built upon.) Some genuinely good, talented colleagues who care about clients and the work they do.

Cons

Leadership is toxic, self-serving, and resistant to feedback. Insecurity, inexperience, and ego drive decision-making far more than competence or vision. Nepotism is the way of the business. It is evident that their overall rating on Glassdoor is propped up by internal family members of the organization. Morale is extremely low. Many talented people have been pushed out or leave on their own because of the environment. Culture is nothing like what’s advertised. They tout values, innovation, and abundance, but operate with a scarcity mindset that breeds politics, favoritism, and exclusion. Professional growth is limited unless you align yourself with the right internal politics; opportunities are hoarded by a select few. Strategy is vague at best, and often feels like empty buzzwords rather than executable plans.

Pros

- Talent Plus offers genuinely strong products and solutions that are interesting to learn about and work with. The company has built a solid reputation around research and science, and the team responsible for that work is highly knowledgeable and thoughtful. - The organization works with impressive clients across a variety of industries, creating opportunities to contribute to meaningful and engaging projects. - Colleagues are generally thoughtful, collaborative and committed to the work. Many tenured team members bring deep knowledge and real passion for the mission. - If you come in curious and open to learning, and take the time to build relationships across teams, it can be a very rewarding place to work. - Good benefits, a flexible hybrid work culture and strong office resources. - There are opportunities to build a strong professional network and develop meaningful relationships across industries.

Cons

- Performance management can be inconsistent at times, and lower performers may remain in roles longer than they should. - Because the organization values tradition and long-standing practices, change can sometimes move slowly. - Talent Plus is somewhat of a quiet leader in its space, and the market awareness does not always reflect the strength of the solutions.

Pros

There are some genuinely great people in the organization. However, none of them are in leadership positions, which is a real bummer. Get the opportunity to volunteer in the community.

Cons

There is no formal training. They will teach you their complex systems and software one time and then any actual learning will come strictly from you asking for help or having to figure it out for yourself. If you are in sales, the process to actually get a customer to come on board is 12-18 months. So, it is a grueling process to attract companies that want to use our services. The leadership at the organization is laughable. Anyone with a decision-making role is far from qualified to be in their position. The President is the daughter of the owner, the Chief of research is the husband of the President, and the Chief of engagement is the best friend of the owner. Every leader there thinks they are the greatest thing ever and will not listen to any constructive criticism. In fact, giving any feedback at all will get you fired. If you are applying to be in sales, you should know that they have fired the last two people they hired to be in sales in less than a year, so please proceed with caution. Overall, if you want to be in an organization where you can't have an opinion and must fall in line every day, then Talent Plus may be the company for you.
