Pros
Flex time, can work remote
Cons
The QA process is not fair to the coders. No true education if errors are found, no edits that could be put in place are added to help the coder with some of the many Th only rules. Some of the P&P are making the coders make decisions they are not qualified to make and give the appears of possible up coding. Provider education seems to be lacking in the proper way to document charts. If you are not physically located in the main office , you are treated differently , almost to the point of feeling like an outcast. Little extra perks given to those in the office are not given to any of the remote employees unless they come into the office.
