Lack of diversity at C- Level leaderships. Most decision makers have little dental experience and prioritize money and looks over safety and best practice. The Operations team is toxic. The leadership with Ops was vindictive, oppressive, condescending and disrespectful. There were so many instances where I was publicly humiliated for asking a question or even making a recommendation. It’s not a collaborative environment at all. They have even been bragging about how they only hire people like them. The only place you’ll see any diversity is within the studios. It’s become clear they only value likeminded and cookie cutter people.
They have a great concept but are committed to pushing out studios when they aren’t ready and people aren’t properly trained and instead of acknowledging the issue comes from top leadership they scapegoat less senior employees and berate them, roll their eyes and isolate them.
Truthfully, the team was great earlier on and got horrible. Honestly once I saw their choice in certain studio managers I knew it was going downhill. They’ll have you start at their amazing flagship team with senior people and incredible studio manager who is kind and knowledgeable to then send you to your permanent studio where managers hide in rooms and never involve themselves with their actual team.
