Pros

- There's no better newsroom on the planet. - WaPo will become the WordPress of Newspapers--- the tech operation is awesome - Headquarters is nice - Culture of experimentation is inspiring

Cons

- Pay could be better, and maybe a few little perks at the office - The ad business is still very challenged (as in the rest of the media world)

Pros

Supporting journalism is the one good thing.

Cons

The culture needs improvement, with a strict in-office policy that may not work well for everyone. There also seems to be ongoing challenges with employee retention, which can impact team morale, consistency, and long-term stability. The tech guild and unions made me feel really uncomfortable with coworkers protesting outside the office.
