This is the most toxic enviornment I have ever worked in (and I have been working in sales for the past 10 years) - Inside Sales Account Executive Thomson Reuters Employee Review

Pros

Great benefits, fun things happening around the campus to boost culture, pay is competitive, half the people here are decent people

Cons

I have never felt so digraded in my life by both management and other coworkers that have been here for long. People are always belittling others to try and maintain their position within the company. Half the people on the Inside Sales team are always worried about their job security. Many of the quotas are unattainable (unless you are selling unethically) and it is a sign of weakness to bring it to the attention of management. Most importantl- I have NEVER seen so many coworkers that have become depressed, go on leave, or develop substance abuse issues due to stress.

Pros

Great environment and people. Lots of overtime available and bonuses during busy season.

Cons

I really enjoyed this job so the only con I can think of is that it is seasonal.

Pros

Plenty of wonderful benefits and the most competitive parental leave I have found in the US job market

Cons

Depending on the organization you work within, you could be working for leadership that expects sales reps to smooth over and fix every single mistake that is made. A lot of these mistakes are because they haven't yet recovered from acquiring new companies and they haven't absorbed CRMs and data correctly. There are many different teams to work with to get the simplest projects done. It feels like the companies values are really in place because they expect the employees to take responsibility for their lack of systems in place supporting them.
