Pros
I really do love working here, and I'm well past the "honeymoon phase." No workplace is perfect but I feel Tinder is great- lots of communication, very much a knowledge sharing environment, and a ton of autonomy and trust to do our jobs, which is exceedingly rare. You can really feel the impact of your work, and I've never felt like a small fish in a big pond here, despite Tinder growing quickly. Leadership handled covid really well and treated us like humans, not just employees. Feedback is taken seriously here. ERGs are great and huge kudos to the workplace experience team, who do stellar events and have managed to keep everyone engaged and having fun throughout the virtual rollercoaster of 2020-2021. The perks are great, the 401K match is unheard of, and the Mentorship program, learning & development stipend, and Udemy perks prove how much development and growth is valued here.
Cons
The lack of equity for many roles is... inequitable and a bit odd. Maybe some growing pains of being in a hyper growth company, but nothing compared to a startup environment or anything.
