Pros
There used to be a lot of good things about Tradeshift - most of all the people you got to work with. Unfortunately very few of them are still left in the company and the leadership is doing nothing to keep them there - just promises with no follow through. The technology stack is really good and modern but without good and talented engineers to keep it running and growing, it is drowning in technical debt with no clear direction.
Cons
The current leadership team does not care about their employees. They don't even seem to know who's still left around. They make promises after promises and break them all the time and then tell you they kept all of their promises. This company used to be a technology driven company. In the last couple of years it has become a Sales company. Not that sales is going well but the only focus seems to be on how the outside world perceives Tradeshift - partners, customers, competitors, specialty magazines, sellers - we tell everybody including the new board of directors of amazing plans while forgetting you need people implementing said plans. If you're bored and look at the reviews of the company and look for the first ever review, I wrote that one - I was about a year into my tenure at Tradeshift. What I wrote then does not stand anymore. Which frankly, it hurts.
