Pros

Family-like culture, woman-owned and operated, located near downtown Menomonee Falls, works closely with the shipping industry.

Cons

Pay was okay at the time but I'm sure it's better now. Nothing inside of the building was updated and all of the computers were old, also the software they use in-house needs an upgrade since it's not the greatest. When I worked here we went through many different management changes and the executives were never transparent about any of the changes.

Pros

Flex Scheduling, remote work w/ Company Provided Equipment, awesome coworkers, mindful managers, bonuses, onsite luncheons (if you're close by).

Cons

Fast paced, but if you're a hard worker you'll be ok. Like riding a bike, Once you got it, you got it.

Pros

Some attempts to give back to employees. Headphones are allowed. There is some flexibility with your schedule. Less hours on Fridays. Plenty of vacation time if you stick with the company. There is also a fledgling profit share program. Most of the employees are friendly and approachable.

Cons

It seems like everything is always in crisis mode. There is very little training available and documentation is extremely poor. Lack of standardization results in processes varying greatly between clients. This combined with the high turn over for employees means that you are left to figure things out on your own in most cases. It's hard to get a routine down since there is always some process that has been fouled up and you have to use old notes and context clues to figure out how thing were done back in the day. This is common enough in most departments that it has become a bit of an in joke among the staff. All of this is reinforced by a company culture that encourages individual accountability. The people are isolated to the point where asking for help is seen by management as distracting them from their own work. It is on the individual to instruct themselves when there is very little means to do so. All the while lofty goals and expectations for the company are preached with very little direction on how they are to be achieved.

We appreciate your input and we always welcome employee opinions. We have an open-door policy so we encourage staff to come forward and share what is happening to get it corrected in a timely manner. Your ability to do your job is important to us and we want to see our employees do well and progress. Please feel free to come forward with any concerns you may have or if you need certain tools to do your job so we can get it addressed. Our company growth is important to us and we are growing. We also take our training program very seriously and we constantly strive to make improvements. We have a new training program coming soon to develop employees professionally. Training is both group and one -on- one training basis. We work to improve our department training and we do provide training. We have a shared company drive where we have placed information for employees to look up on how to do certain processes, as well as to find answers to their questions in case someone is not around to help. This manual is updated as new suggestions are presented and when there are any changes regarding a process or procedure. Our business caters to our clients and we ensure that the services they have chosen and are paying for are met accordingly and within the clients’ deadlines. We work in a fast-paced environment and we are driven to meet certain deadlines.
