Pros

There is always additional hours you can take on to earn extra money. You are not forced to work extra shifts outside of your regularly scheduled shifts.

Cons

It all depends on where you are positioned to work. It can also be difficult since they are forced to juggle people around to fill vacancies at different co tracts.

Pros

Easy, simple work as guard and dispatcher was not terribly difficult, just aggravating.

Cons

Employer stated that one would not get paid for overtime, although on several occasions I had to stay 30 minutes past my scheduled time. Was not appreciated for picking up shifts where people were desperately needed. In fact, was disrespected at the time for no reason. I was locked in a confined area because I was not given a key card to leave the premises. I was stuck there 50 minutes after my shift because the client was no showing up and I did not have the key to leave. Unprofessional. The company is unorganized and unprepared, constantly looking for individuals to pick up shifts, not appreciating effort put into the company, and not offering consistent services to clients. Often times shifts went uncovered and clients would be fairly upset by this, considering when you hire guards, you expect consistency. A majority of the senior management spoke disrespectfully about certain employees. I could not trust this company and therefore left immediately.
