Pros

UBS is a true meritocracy where you are evaluated on your skills and what you bring to the table versus the face time that most bankers have to put in. I did my MBA summer and internship there, and because I had such a positive experience, I decided to return full-time after i completed my MBA.

Cons

It is an investment bank after all. Thus, work life balance does not really exist. Though, UBS appears to be more fair than other banks on Wall Street. Also, UBS pays slightly less than other banks on Wall Street. That is something to consider when someone who is doing the same job as you is paid 20% more a few blocks away.

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
