      Good place to work, but needs more Ooomph - Associate Director UBS Employee Review

      Pros

      The benefits are good, the tone is generally friendly. Work/life balance is very good. The firm successfully turned around after the 2007/08 disaster and seriously tries to repair the UBS brand, with quite some success so far.

      Cons

      Compensation is sub par, last bonus round was disappointing for the lower ranks despite good results. This is not a good way to retain good people.

      I think they reactively layoff people without knowing their true value to the business.
