Pros

You get to work with people that are appealed by bigotry and opinionated jargon.

Cons

Their product is a glorified and obsolete version of woocommerce and MagentoCMS. It may have "a lot to learn" just like any other startup, but the attitude of the senior staff is completely unprofessional. Their bigotry has increased even more after managing to get some VC investment pumped into the company by pulling political strings. Terrible work/life balance. Notice most of the reviews on Glassdoor are by current employees (who must have obviously been forced to write good reviews for such a horrid workplace). Good luck trying to introduce anything new to these guys without a long, heated and aggravating debate. Their hiring techniques are ludicrous. A friend of mine who had been interviewed for an engineering position claimed that not a single question regarding the actual work involved was brought up. They are even hesitant to let you ask any questions during the interview. Also, they didn't even show the courtesy to call my friend back after the interview, which is highly unprofessional. They have a small office on a single floor in the polluted city of Bengaluru.

Pros

1) Good market - ecommerce search is a large market 2) Good traction - company has grown over the past 2 years

Cons

1) Recently lots of senior management and overall employee have come from Akamai and there is extreme partiality towards them. New COO is from Akamai and is comfortable with only people he has worked with in the past. Does not trust old employees who have delivered constantly for so many years 2) Founders have given up on the company. No longer have an opinion or say in company decisions. Blindly following what new Akamai employees are saying 3) No respect for paying bonuses on time. Keep making excuses. Losing ethical value
