Cons
I would like to share my experience regarding the company’s work culture, particularly in relation to senior management practices. In my observation, recognition and growth opportunities are often tied to employees who consistently work beyond standard hours. While dedication is important, “extraordinary performance” seems to be defined primarily as extended working hours rather than efficiency or quality of work. Additionally, when employees complete their assigned tasks within the expected timeframe, targets are frequently increased. This creates a continuous cycle of escalating expectations, which can make it challenging to maintain a sustainable work pace. At times, the workload appears structured in a way that leaves little room for necessary breaks during working hours. Furthermore, employees who aim to maintain a healthy work-life balance may feel overshadowed by those who regularly work extended hours. This dynamic, combined with the organization’s emphasis on “flexibility,” can sometimes be perceived as an expectation to remain constantly available rather than fostering genuine flexibility. Overall, these practices may impact employee well-being and long-term productivity.
