Pros

Still trying to figure it out. They will tell you the bubbly water in the office and snack kitchen (not free).

Cons

Heavy in-office culture with intense micromanaging from the CEO down. Never ever experienced this at a Bay Area tech company not to mention the out-dated accrued PTO. The expectation is to be at your desk or in office as "leadership is watching". Who builds their culture on fear and threats and doesn't foster an environment of teamwork and trust? The CEO literally didn't want to talk "numbers" at the All-Hands meeting but instead it was an hours long awards ceremony like elementary school. How does one support their company if they don't even know where the company is financially?

Pros

Great people to work with!

Cons

The only con is the limited flexibility in securing a raise that fairly reflects the amount of work involved.

Pros

• Solid product with real market fit. Some lines print money, so you’re not selling vapor. • Fast decisions. Small enough that deals and calls don’t die in committee. • Good brand recognition in its vertical. Opens doors on outreach. • Room to build if you like ambiguity and greenfield work.

Cons

Founder/CEO manages through intimidation. Expect to be yelled at in meetings and to watch him lose his temper when the numbers or the message aren’t what he wants. It drives a fear culture where people tell him what he wants to hear instead of running the business. • Infrastructure is thin. You’ll build the plane mid-flight. Fine if you expect it, rough if you don’t. • Comp ramp is slow and the plan has structural gaps. • Heavy reporting load relative to headcount.
