Pros
I’ve worked at Vault for a little over a year now.
When I first started at Vault, I was trained by our Lead Teacher and CEO directly and learned more from them in a week than in all my years of schooling combined. The CEO is genuinely brilliant and has spent years developing this unique curriculum that doesn’t just teach students “what” to learn but, more importantly, “how” to learn. This in and of itself has been indispensable to my life. The dedication to teacher training for all tutors is the most exceptional part of the company.
As Vault has continued to grow and expand (opened up 2 new offices during my tenure here), there has been opportunity for growth for employees. I started off as a part-time tutor and eventually transitioned to a full-time capacity after about 5 months. The company currently consists of a lean team of people who are talented, passionate, and very enjoyable to work with.
The leadership team is always thinking about how we can better serve our students and expand our services. We're currently in the process of developing a technology platform that will work hand-in-hand with our amazing curriculum to even more effectively support our students.
Cons
Hard for me to think of any "cons". But if I had to choose something, it'd be the parking. Since our hours are typically shifted to be later in the day (we're primarily working with students after school), most of the parking spots are already taken by the time I get there in the morning. But this will soon be a non-issue once we transition to our new office.
