Pros

The company managed to spend 800 M$ in 3 years

Cons

CEO does not have an idea how to make money and loves to micromanage everything. Recently company run out of cash and layout almost everyone. During Hayabusa upgrade + Stargate people were working their arses off only to learn that no bonuses in 2026 and most of them will be laid off.

Pros

Freedom to innovate. No micro management.

Cons

Simple tech stack Products have no users, and the reason why they weee on the roadmap was never questioned. Vechain always behind other chains in what it’s developing. No real experts at manager level. Product owners lack imagination or drive to do anything cutting edge. CEO uses ChatGPT to make up roadmaps. Token lost 90% of value and 80% layoffs happened. Chain lacks basic stuff like a stable coin, a decent block explorer, compatibility to ethereum. Developers community is tiny and there very few apps on chain, many of which were scams and closed down.

Pros

A talented, dedicated team and a strong opportunity to work on sustainability-driven Web3 products with real-world application.

Cons

Despite being described as a “flat” organisational structure, decision-making is highly centralised, with most authority resting with the CEO and limited challenge or counterbalance from the C-suite, particularly the CFO and CMO. The company ultimately released the majority of its workforce without meaningful acknowledgment of individual or collective contributions. Responsibility for the mismanagement of funds that led to this outcome was not visibly owned at leadership level, with the existing C-suite remaining in place despite their role in decision-making.
