Making the choice to depart from the company for some personal matters was one of the toughest decisions I have had to make. The leadership team is one of the most inspirational leadership teams that I have had the pleasure of working for. I have never worked for a group of founders and managers who cared so immensely about myself as a person, my family and my well being. The company itself is a startup, its fast paced and demanding. The team is very talented and has a great perspective in front of them. The ability to set your path and succeed as far as you want is entirely possible. You will get out of Verishop what you put into it.

The company often encountered challenges in establishing a clear and consistent direction. During periods of strategic shifts, there was a lack of communication and consideration of the execution of these changes. There was also some ambiguity regarding the deprioritized projects. The teams often had differing priorities, which sometimes led to a lack of coordination in approach. The processes in place occasionally resulted in oversight and a reactive rather than strategic response to business needs, emphasizing short-term solutions over long-term planning. The culture fostered was fast-paced and felt unsupportive. There was a lack of documentation on processes, gate-keeping information and lack of proper product documentation that made it challenging to onboard into. This is particularly challenging in a company with a rotating door of talent/resources.
