Pros
This is a company that is both talking the talk and walking the walk. The energy and focus on delighting customers and engaging its employees is impressive. I'm not saying that everything is right...it never is. However, leadership openly acknowledges the "warts" and works to identify solutions and focus employees on continuous improvements geared towards improving customer experience and creating a positive culture for the organization. Investments in DE&I, employee recognition, global learning and technology/business process transformation are evident. If you are someone who wants to see their work pay dividends in terms of company performance and have opportunities for self-development, Veritiv is the place for you. The culture that Sal and the senior leadership team are working hard to create has really made a difference in the company.
Cons
Lots of transformation initiatives which obviously means lots of change. If you need the status quo, this will not work for you.
