Culture of constructive feedback overarches everything. Great if you're fresh out of school looking to learn and become a great worker. Terrible if you've put in years of work and there's no sense of respect or appreciation for that.
Lots of gaslighting - especially when people ask for space to complete their work, are overbilled, overbooked, overscheduled, and at 200% capacity in the internal planner. I was told in a performance review that couldn't get a raise or promotion because "I say no too often" and "am over capacity." Being over capacity is a management failure, NOT a reflection of employee performance!!! Completely absurd and frankly disgusting to blame employees for the fact that YOU keep losing staff and taking on business you can't handle.
Touts financial acumen but refuses to upkeep salary increases that reflect inflation.
Extremely cliquey environment.
Literally they don't care about you as a person at all. Don't care about your life events, your family, your health. I've seen people at all levels, from CEO to your peers, not give one damn about employees having babies, losing a loved one or leaving the firm after 5-10 years. Not a blink or a goodbye or a thank you or congratulations or even an email acknowledging they wish you well. We're all human. And for a boutique firm built on personal connections, do better.
