Pros

Great work/life balance infact insisted by the higher management. Annual increment is never single digit for anyone, market corrections are done periodically. No stress, easy and flexible timelines. Heaven for a candidate who suffered through heat of service provider companies. One can finally settledown and retire for good. Very very very good onsite compensation (if you are lucky to travel)

Cons

Company never allocate project developement to India site. Core developement is done at sweden and only dust cleaning jobs are given to India. Good infractucture but no fun at work, dull enviroment. Dont even thing about onsite opportunity for more than a month. No trainings, appreciations or motivations. You will learn lots of information about Volvo company but zero knowledge about automobile indusrty trends. Not good for freshers, good for who just looking for monthly salary and super annual hike and waiting for retirement. Its a technical & career dead end. No vertical growth path established, one can not plan the future growth. Working hard wont always be appreciated & not required also. To gain something in this company, whenever possible one need to continuosly gibber about the Volvo policis, Sweden happenings, most importantly your each sentence must have atleast two swedish names, then you become "visible". Performance will never be considered as a benchmark.

Pros

Really inclusive environment and most of campus is already with ABW - activity based workplace (flexible seating).

Cons

Sometimes due to the very inclusive environment, decisions can take a little longer.

Pros

Vacation, parental leave, cafeteria, DEI.

Cons

I feel like decisions are made by people not involved in processes which results in day to day activities becoming more and more difficult. Unable to schedule projects to save their lives. So many last minute tests and drop in testing, theres almost no point to schedule testing.
