Pros
- Pay is good compared to similar jobs with no experience required - Great job if you are young or single - Incentive to earn up to +30% of your base pay based on performance -All the schedules have at least one weekend day off. -Lunch break is paid. -Production goals are realistic and even if you cannot maximize your incentive, there should be no issues meeting productivity goals after 3-4 months if you are not slacking. - You will be in pretty good shape if you eat healthy.
Cons
- Schedule really sucks, never a consistent time leaving. Shifts are supposed to be 10 or 12 hours, but you really never know. - Long Shifts will be spent constantly lifting things. You will get used to it. - Every second of your shift is timed and tracked - Breaks are short. 20 minute lunch break, but that includes the time it takes you to get to and from the break room in a large warehouse. Realistically your break will be between 10 and 15 minutes to eat and use the restroom. You can still use the restroom during your shift, but the time will negatively impact your production, which brings your incentive pay down.
