Pros
My experience with both the customers as well as co-workers has been positive. The store had a huge flow of customers during summer which allowed the cashiers to interact and develop communication skills. Great place for high school students to gain work experience and build communication, problem solving, time management, and adaptability skills.
Cons
The store was short staffed mostly and there was quite a bit of work load. We were often requested to stay longer past our shift's end (by choice though).
