Pros
At first, I enjoyed the ability to lead and make decisions which impacted business. It was exciting to merchandise based on your target group and increase sales or facelift a department for the season and increase traffic.
Cons
Responsibilities were slowly stripped away from management and a more formatted play book was solidified. “Don’t think, just do” became the theme and that made the job feel mundane.
