Pros
Like other tech companies, there are free snacks, drinks, and fitness classes (if that is your thing)-- but one of the best parts of the job is the culture at Wayfair. It is clear that the company leadership really cares about their employees, strives to keep them happy, and create an environment around them that encourages them to succeed. Their are endless opportunities to branch out, try new things, and even move laterally in the company if you feel like a certain role is what you want to be doing. It is not uncommon for your Director to encourage you to take the leap. There is a spirit of transparency that starts with the executive leadership and it's not unusual to sit near some of the business leaders or have casual conversation with them at parties. The work day goes quickly because we are always working on something new and employees are encouraged to work in spaces and speeds that they are comfortable with. You can always escape to one of the many kitchens, grab a beer, and work away from your desk.
Cons
It's hard to think of any real cons exclusive to Wayfair, but as this company is growing really fast, if you have difficulty adapting to change it may take you some time to feel at ease here.
