The title is a bit misleading. At Wiley, an "editorial" assistant and the higher level "editors" do only administrative and account/client management work. There is no editing involved, and the writing is limited to writing emails and proposals. They're up-front about that, but some who see the title and are looking for creative work might be a bit put-off.
$32,000 salary is low--especially if you have loans and want to live in the city.
