Pros
The benefits are great, and HR is open to recommendations around updates and additions. The PTO is flexible and I'm encouraged to take it when I need it, which I didn't believe was going to be the case coming in (that does not seem like something a company would do from my past experiences) Time in the office is tolerable, if not an actual good time, with some help from the casual dress code, snacks, free lunch, and a variety of themed gatherings and happy hours. I also appreciate the efforts to support local makers in our different office locations and receiving swag that is green-friendly
Cons
The internal feedback tool is not the best and can open up opportunities for passive-aggressive postings and gives managers who lack strong communication and listening skills the tools to avoid face-to-face, candid feedback. Compensation could be better!
