Freelancers should avoid this company due to unfair treatment - Anonymous employee WorkBetterNow Employee Review

I worked with them for 6 months; during that time, the client I was working with (Togorun, a PR company from New York) never gave me any negative feedback. One day, the boss sent me a text message after working hours, and I just answered the next day (since I respect my working hours), and because of that, she decided to fire me, which is weird, but she can do that because it is her company. I thought Work Better Now would be by my side and understand me, but they were 100% on the client’s side. They didn’t give me a chance to explain and decided to fire me, not allowing me to work with any other client. This was extremelly surprising because during their training, when I was hired, they said the only reason someone would be fired from their talent pool was if the person acted in an ill-intended way, committing fraud or lying to the client, for example. Therefore, I was under the wrongful impression that they would understand me and stay by my side, but that didn’t happen. So if you are a freelancer, I highly recommend you stay far away from this company!
