Workday Australia is in denial about so many considerations.
There are a vast number of customers who despise the product and this isn’t recognised by leadership as many people at workday in Australia lack experience at other companies over the last decade and consider workday to be better than sliced bread when it’s not even a half eaten slice of whole meal.
The actual tech is outdated and workdays approach is to buy upcoming niche vendors to solve their tech problems instead of addressing the negative market feedback, listening to customers and dropping the ego.
Many of workdays large customers are staying around because workday provides huge discounts just to keep the brand name. The customers do not respect workday and use them as a way to reduce annual tech spend which looks great to any board. The advanced workday customers have little faith in the product and often make their own technology - especially AI recruitment tools because they don’t trust workday’s tech stack.
It’s only a matter of time before workday continues to lose more market share and fails to transparently acknowledge why they are losing so many deals over the last 5 years.
