Speaking only about the Northwest team I worked with, and this does not even highlight all my issues:
- I've realized that that they're out to hire CCIE's left and right just for the prestige of it.
- My base salary has stayed the same the period I was there.
- No recognition for any of my achievements, including a second CCIE in a category in which I was the only one certified in the whole company. Yet no one sought my expertise, and at some point was even told this was "worthless" even though there's a whole practice around it.
- Consistently denied chances to to move up despite being acknowledged that I'm qualified to,
- Alot of nepotism going on and people getting laid off in favor of relatives taking their positions. An Associate Project Manager significantly younger than me kept moving around a lot and somehow ended up being my manager.
- No work/life balance. I was relocated to Seattle at my own expense, only to end being shipped all over the country most of the year rather than do local work.
- Once I told them I was leaving I was treated like a traitor, no one would speak to me. I've never been made to feel so insignificant before.
