Some things never change - Anonymous employee World Wide Technology Employee Review

Pros

Training and certifications are covered by the company and the benefits are good.

Cons

Everything is considered a lateral move. WWT does not compensate based on new skill sets and certifications achieved, but expect you to continue to grow your technical skills to make the same salary. Plenty of dishonest people, who tell you what you want to hear, but never deliver. Also, if you are more qualified for a job, don't expect to get it over someone closely tied to the hiring manager, because it will not happen.

Thanks. I think it's too general to say everything is considered a lateral move or that certifications and new skill-sets aren’t considered during compensation reviews. Individual situations are handled differently based on a number of circumstances. I’m sorry you feel you were treated unfairly and I’m unable to speak to your specific situation. Regardless, good luck to you.

Pros

Great benefits and the option to work from home.

Cons

Company culture took a hit when they started hiring former AB employees for management positions. Slowing becoming the good ol’ boys network.
