Chaotic workload with regards to capacity ebbs and flows. In fairness to them however, i was employed late COVID till the start of New normal - many companies had hiring freezes as they sought to adapt to changes in the economy. In my tenure whole company social events were few and far between. Were it not for well connected / longer tenured staff in my team im not sure i would have been as familiar with many people in the office.
