Nice colleagues and considerate and flexible boss

Office is kind of small

They have a location near Las Vegas, a great place to live as the weather is great. The atmosphere is small company and pretty laid back, at least at that site.

Difficult management to work for. They refuse to accept the challenges professional staff face by working remotely with no other support. Communication between sites in CA, NV & Toronto is expected to be done via unreliable, unprofessional and cheap (meaning free) web tools only. When presented with feedback that an employee isn't performing up to expectations there is no opportunity to discuss the problem(s) in a meaningful way. Management attitude is "my way or the highway" The management of their data is archaic and lacks any form of control. There is no way you can know if you are working on the latest or correct version of any file. This can lead to unwitting mistakes that can lead to the aforementioned expectation issues. Coherent project management is nearly non-existent. Product features are added and subtracted on whims and with little to no study of whether they actually add value to the product. Assignments are handed out randomly and with little or no direction.
