Pros
- Most of the team are great and you can find real friends here, just don't take everything at face value. - Most people care about what they do, enjoy it, and are good at it. - Good product but needs further development.
Cons
- Overworked and underpaid, the company expects long hours to be worked and yet offer lower than standard wages for most but not all roles. - Lack of a good benefits package. - Management is reactive rather than proactive. Personally, I'd say it's disorganized, lacks stability, as well as a clear vision beyond 'Do anything to hit the numbers investors asked for'. I understand the importance of this but there is more to a company than targets, especially when considering daily management. - As the company continued to scale, culture diminished. As an example, the core values of ' Honesty and transparency' were quickly exchanged for 'Secret conversations and apparent lies'. - Pre-COVID19 having any kind of work-life balance was near impossible. The budget for well-being/team bonding has continued to decrease per-head since my first day and is now basically non-existent. - Working from home did help with work-life balance, although, who's to know what the future holds when offices are back to normal. Previously working from home was not a given but more of a luxury. This was due to some members of management believing working from home was simply an excuse to do no work. This was regardless of how much-proven experience of remote/fieldwork you entered the company with.
