Hi there. Thank you for your feedback. Although we appreciate your positive experience working with our multicultural talents and in a flexible environment, we are concerned to hear about the hierarchical approach to management you mentioned in your review. trivago has always valued a flat hierarchy and we try our best to distil this crucial part of our working culture across all teams in the company. Regarding salary, we are constantly striving to keep it fair and also aligned with every talent’s value contribution to the company and we’ll continue to make positive steps in the right direction. We wish you the best for your future endeavors.

Pros

- free beer, cereals, milk, coffee and other small stuff - team events where you see your managers get drunk - one trip once a year where the whole company gets drunk - average age 25

Cons

- all the above benefits mean less salary for people while trivago pays less taxes - very inexperience middle managers that treat people like monkey - no way to move up because of older employees and flat hierarchy
