Pros
None that I can think of.
Cons
The company's leadership demonstrated a significant lack of understanding and appreciation for the role of a Project Manager. They consistently undervalued the importance of project management methodologies and failed to provide adequate support and resources. This made it incredibly challenging to deliver successful outcomes, as I constantly had to fight for necessary resources and implement processes that were essential to project success. The work culture was toxic and moralizing. There was a pervasive sense of micromanagement, which stifled creativity and autonomy. Instead of empowering their employees to excel, executive management imposed unnecessary restrictions and constantly questioned every decision, undermining my professional expertise. I would caution other professionals considering joining this company to carefully evaluate the potential challenges and consider alternative options that offer a more supportive and fulfilling work environment.
