Pros

- Flexible working (if not killing yourself with overtime) - The people who work there are lovely

Cons

- very poor salaries and pay rises - old fashioned ways and unwilling to change - most people do the bare minimum to ghost through the day which leads to a few key players taking on more - key players aren’t recognised leading to most leaving - weren’t allowed to have your own thoughts, had to follow what the ‘boss’ told you to do - managers weren’t qualified for the role which led to the lack of change as everything was done as it always was

Thank you for your feedback. We have a very experienced Management team, who own and drive change within their departments as well as across the business. We carry out regular salary benchmarking and provide attractive benefits that include flexible working. There is no expectation of anyone doing overtime, in fact we encourage a healthy work life balance which is positively reflected in recent employee surveys.

Pros

-Remote & flexible working (though this is the new standard post-COVID) -Friendly and casual environment -Low stress environment -Fairly easy to perform role without pushing oneself

Cons

-Non-competitive wage -MD does not recognise key players, resulting in top tier candidates leaving and being replaced with below par individuals (leading to further growth stagnation for the business) --> witnessed a key individual in the senior management team be pushed to breaking point with stress, not supported the entire time --> individual was then replaced with an entire team which could not hit the same performance levels -MD out of touch with day to day requirements of running the company -Slow paced working environment leading to even slower pace of "development" -Development put in "" due to the fact that development projects are simply delegated admin tasks rather than stretch projects -Key decisions made without Senior Managers being informed. Dry admin tasks robustly discussed with senior managers to give sense of involvement without being given access to behind the scenes -Personally felt like "can-do" attitude was crushed out of me day-by-day --> led to a loss of confidence and less drive --> more likely to accept faux development

Thank you for your feedback. We have recognized that the previous development approach was inconsistent which did lead to some delegation of admin tasks. The competency based framework that is being put in place focuses on addressing this and will better empower individuals which in turn supports our current and future growth.
