Pros

I made some (hopefully) lifelong friends. The org has lots of smart, talented, strong, and caring people. The MCs team is amazing. Rae is an incredible, supportive manager with a STRONG self-care and boundary setting practice, and it shows. She made a safe space for me when I got added to her team. Everett the UX Director is also great, and same goes for Elton. They're experienced managers who will not surprise their direct reports. (If my star ratings below are all over the place, it's because Rae is the positive deviant. She helped me find some kind of balance for a while.)

Cons

Certain members of the Executive Team right now are ... going through some **stuff**. And surprise surprise: it's impacting the most marginalized. I witnessed so many of my queer, trans, Black, POC and women colleagues get burned, harassed, demoted unexpectedly, stay underpaid, take on leadership roles without recognition, and get put onto PIPs for no reason. And more. I experienced some stuff too, though nothing _that_ bad. (I did talk at length about these issues with HR, the Executive Team, the Racial Equity Committee, and *lots* of surveys. The Board also read some of my reports.) I could write novels with the documentation I felt like I had to keep. I left because I got offered a new job, and also because they let my friend go on the Support Team for no good reason. They did not support her. (They still had options: Several other teams wanted to hire her.)
